legendary world-class hotels. The crowning achievement is the Grand Lobby
with its mosaic tile floor,  Tiffany stained-glass ceiling, rare Siena marble walls,

and unique tile murals.
And for just a few dollars more, you can visit Steamtown National Historic Site or
the Electric City Trolley Museum before coming to the hotel!

Relive the era of the steam locomotive
as the colossal, fire-breathing engines
come back to life! Tour the 40-acre
railroad yard and see 65 locomotives,
freight cars, and passenger cars.
Then visit the repair shop, technology
and history museums, roundhouse,
and museum shop and bookstore.
 Finally, ride the train to the Radisson Hotel!

(You can also visit the Electric City Trolley Museum
and take the 1 hour scenic trolley ride instead of Steamtown
)

Get Electrified at the Trolley Museum!

Scranton is called the Electric City because it had Pennsylvania’s first trolley line in 1877. Visit the trolley museum and see vintage trolleys. Then take a 1-hour ride in a restored trolley, alongside Roaring Brook, past the Iron Furnaces, and through the 4,747-foot Crown Avenue Tunnel, while a tour guide dressed in period clothing narrates your trip.  At the halfway mark, visit the new Trolley Works building, where several historic trolleys are being restored.
